City of Monte Sereno : Internet

Monte Sereno is a small community of approximately 1.56 square miles located between City of Saratoga and the Town of Los Gatos. It is an all residential community of approximately 3,800 residents and the area is know for it’s rural character and wooded hillsides as well as it’s magnificent estates. Sight Design was approached to redesign the city of Monte Sereno website. The new design was from the ground up, replacing all graphical and navigational elements. New dynamic content features were added as well.

Recommendations and Components

1. Sight Design created a new design direction for the city’s website
2. Dynamic content management systems were upgraded to include more content types and areas
3. A new user-friendly events calendar was created.
4. A Documents and Community Services system was created
5. A robust search engine was added to the site with capabilities to search all pages and dynamic content
6. Sight Design will be implementing an ecommerce engine for Monte Sereno as part of a phase two.
